A deep garnet hued Cabernet Sauvignon with a complex bouquet of black currant, spice box, oak, leather and dark chocolate. This full-bodied wine has great structure and youthful drying tannins. The ripe fruit flavours include dark plum and black cherry, which are accented by a note of sweet spice. The extra-dry finish lingers with notes of black tea, cocoa powder, black currant, black cherry and oak.
Enjoy with grilled red meats; rich beef stews; leg of lamb; roasted game meats; 70% dark chocolate; three-year-old cheddar and Pecorino cheese. Wonderful fireside wine for cool evening sipping with close friends and great conversation.
Serve at a cool room temperature of 16 to 18˚C.
Drink now through 2024. Decanting is recommended if drinking now through 2021.
