Winemaking Notes: Crafted from an outstanding Ontario vintage, this Merlot reflects the care and dedication invested from vineyard to cellar. Ideal growing conditions and patient aging of more than three years in premium French oak casks have created a wine with exceptional depth, balance and character.
Aromas of ripe plum, raspberry, blackberry and dark chocolate lead into a rich, full-bodied palate with layers of dark fruit, subtle oak and a velvety texture. Firm structure and well-integrated tannins carry through to a long, polished finish.
An excellent match for grilled steaks, braised short ribs, mushroom risotto and aged cheeses. Enjoy it now for its youthful richness or cellar it to reveal even greater complexity in the years to come.
