Description from the Producer
BC VQA Okanagan Valley
Tasting Notes
Colour: Light lemon
Nose: Granny smith apple with stone minerality, followed by citrus and melon.
Palate: Expressive flavours of pear, peach blossom, melon and lemon with a wonderfully long finish
Food Pairings: Whether you have it with grilled halibut, roast chicken and veggies, you are going to be happy.
Winemaking: Hand harvested and hand sorted, this pinot gris comes from a small family vineyard in Summerland with ideal conditions and breathtaking views. The grapes were whole bunch pressed and fermented at cool temperatures to retain the fresh fruit aromas. The wine remained on lees after fermentation for two months to add texture and character.
Residual Sugar: 4.5 g/L
