Wooden Gate Cider presses its bottles on the Manitoba prairies, near Pilot Mound, using 100 percent Manitoba apples. Chokecherry and saskatoon get blended into part of the range. That fruit gives some bottles a flavour you will not find in a plain apple cider. Shiny Apple Cider is built around Niagara-on-the-Lake, pressing local Ontario apples into a classic cider plus a run of flavoured versions.
