Perfect Setting: Celebrations of any kind.
Varietals: Zinfandel 100%
Harvest: Sep 23, brix 17.2, hand harvested at 3.6 tons per acre
Vinification: Naturally fermented in a stainless steel tank and then gravity fed directly into bottles where fermentation finished without intervention
Vineyard: Coyote block, planted 2006, glaciofluvial sedimentary soil, elevation 415-420m, drip irrigation
Certification: Certified Organic, Salmon Safe, Vegan
Season Profile: The 2020 season started with average spring temperatures and a wetter than usual June. Fruit set was excellent and remained healthy throughout the summer. With years of regenerative farming we increased yield and quality simultaneously in a year where many were challenged, but our vineyards remained resilient. Degree day accumulations were a bit below normal through to the end of August, but September weather was exceptionally warm and helped the fruit finish perfectly.
