Backyard Vineyards est un domaine viticole de pleine production situé au cœur des collines vallonnées de South Langley, en Colombie-Britannique, dans la région viticole de la vallée du Fraser. Depuis 2009, nous produisons des vins de cépage, des assemblages et des bulles primés, élaborés à partir de raisins 100 % de la Colombie-Britannique, cultivés sur place dans notre propre vignoble, et agrémentés de fruits sélectionnés dans la vallée du Fraser et le sud de l'Okanagan.
Notre vigneron, Liam Berti, produit plus de 20 cépages, rosés et assemblages exceptionnels, dont le cabernet franc, le cabernet sauvignon, le merlot, la syrah, le pinot gris, le chardonnay, le gewurztraminer, le riesling, ainsi qu'un porto. Ces vins ont remporté de nombreux prix au fil des ans.
Backyard Vineyards sits in South Langley, in BC's Fraser Valley, close enough to Vancouver that it calls itself the city's backyard. Wine has been made on the site since around 2000, first as Neck of the Woods and then under the Backyard name from 2009.
It is one of the easiest wine-country day trips from the city, which is part of the pitch. You can be among the vines within an hour of downtown Vancouver.

Backyard makes VQA wines, handcrafted and bottled at its Langley winery, with fruit from both the Fraser Valley and the South Okanagan. Head winemaker Liam Berti has led the cellar since 2018.
The crowd-pleaser is the Nosey Neighbour line, a red and white blend built for everyday drinking, alongside Pinot Gris, a Meritage blend, and traditional-method sparkling. These are easygoing wines meant for a weeknight table.
