Expert winemaker Elaine Vickers joined the team in 2019 and has quickly become the inspiration behind their exciting and high-quality portfolio. Vickers’ education in oenology and extensive winemaking experience has encouraged her to take risks and tweak techniques in the winemaking process, all of which yield increasingly impressive products for Red Rooster, vintage after vintage.

A medium-bodied white with grapefruit and citrus on the nose and green plum and lemon zest on the finish. Enjoy with goat cheese crostini with honey, pecans, and thyme or herb and butter-baked oysters.
A wonderfully balanced, opulent white with a bouquet of honeysuckle and apricot and notes of peach and baking spice on the nose and palate. Sip alongside grilled lobster tails with lime and coriander butter or mild curry tofu with jasmine rice.
2018 Rare Bird Series Meritage
A tantalizing blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot, petit verdot, and malbec. Cedar and oak spice aromas with rich flavours of cassis and plum. Pairs beautifully with smoked brisket tacos or gorgonzola and grape bruschetta with honey drizzle.
Near equal parts cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, and merlot with lively aromas of dark cherry, black pepper, and smoke. Notes of raspberry, blackcurrant, dark chocolate, and savoury green herbs on the palate. Pair this bold red with flame-grilled steak with sautéed mushrooms or assorted aged charcuterie.
